Firkin's got some of the best fish and chips in Houston. I'd say the best I've had in town are from Red Lion, Firkin, and Baker St. (Baker St. has surprisingly good fish and chips!). Served on a bed of fries, Firkin hooked me up with 3 big pieces of fish. The serving was pretty damn solid... solid enough that I could only eat half on the spot (the leftovers were not as delicious, as the fish isn't as crispy). On another positive note, Leaney and I had a GROUPON, which means this whole basket of food probably only cost me about $6. Great pre-halloween Friday dinner.
