A 4-year-old girl was shot in the stomach outside a Bronx apartment building early this morning, cops and fire officials said.
The child, whose identity was not released, was blasted shortly before 1 a.m. in a courtyard area on Hughes Avenue and then taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
It was not known how or why the youngster was shot. Police had erected a crime scene, but there was no report of any arrests.
