A beef fajita torta just should NOT cost $7. I don't know if there are any research papers on this topic...but it seems like there is an inverse relationship between deliciousness and price when it comes to the torta. The cheaper you can find one, the more delicious it tends to be. Good thing this meal was purchased with a Groupon (effectively halving our price paid), because it was very, very average (at best). The torta was served on some sort of french bread. If you can't get the bread right, you should stop right there! Also, it seemed smaller than most other tortas you would get at more authentic taquerias (where's the meat, mang?). Overall, we got a crapload of food for about $25, due to the Groupon. I would not return without some sort of coupon, since 100% Taquito is actually quite deceptively pricy.
