Last Friday, a group of us hit up the Aeros vs. the team from Texas (no clue what their mascot is) over at the Toyota Center. Between the 2nd and 3rd periods, Leaney and I shared this jumbo beef hot dog with a side of fries. Although this thing was delicious, it was somewhat terrible at the same time. There was something a bit off about the dog, and at $9, I could have had about 18 of these made at home. Overall, we had a really good time at the game. The lack of people in the stands makes for really entertaining "dance cams" and "kiss cams" as you feel like you may actually get put on the jumbo tron. Parking is also really reasonable, as you can just use the regular lots at regular price. The Houston Aeros are definitely at least a once in a year outing. I think they lost this game...which is good since I couldn't figure out a way to bet on it.
