The Superbowl is, well...the Superbowl of football. I also consider it the Superbowl of eating/potluck. Last Sunday, I headed over to Jimmy's place with a rack of bacon wrapped scallops. At $16.99/lb, they better have been good! (they were actually absolutely delicious and wrapped with center cut bacon). So easy too, as all you do is wrap these suckers and then broil for about 17-20 minutes. In addition to a plate of bacon wrapped scallops, we also had shrimp cocktail, breakfast tacos, pizza, ribs, turkey legs, hot dogs, spinach dip and a couple of sushi rolls. A great spread for an absolutely great game that will go down as one of the best Superbowls ever. Doesn't hurt that I won about 175 honey butter chicken biscuits betting on the game. *Sigh*...another 7-8 months until more football.
